Readers Favorite International book awards (Miami)
Just last week, I flew to the USA, via Amsterdam and Detroit, to attend the Readers favorite International book awards. My teen book Jodie and the library card won the bronze medal.
I spent a few days in Maimi, seeing the sights and getting to know many new authors. I also visited the Miami book fair, where my books were being sold in aid of St Judes hospital.
I am extremely proud of winning this and hope one day I might just win again.
And I was one of the lucky authors who met Julie. We taught at the same school in Benghazi years ago but never met then. What a small world.
