Indian based scam callers.. beware...

Indian scam callers are individuals or groups based in India who engage in fraudulent activities, usually by making unsolicited phone calls to people in other countries. These scammers often pretend to be representatives of legitimate organizations such as banks, tech support companies, or government agencies. The scammers use various techniques to gain the trust of the victim, such as claiming that their computer is infected with a virus or that their bank account has been compromised. They then ask the victim to provide personal information such as bank account numbers, passwords, or credit card details. In some cases, they may even request remote access to the victim's computer, which they can use to steal sensitive information or install malware. One of the most common types of scams that Indian scammers use is the "Microsoft tech support" scam, where they claim to be from Microsoft and tell the victim that their computer has been infected with a virus. They then offer to fix the problem for a fee, which is usually paid using a gift card or wire transfer. It's important to note that not all Indian call centers are scams. Many legitimate businesses in India also provide customer service and telemarketing services to companies in other countries. However, it's always important to be cautious when receiving unsolicited phone calls, especially if the caller is requesting personal information or payment.
